This is a fascinating book, not just about IBM but also about changing corporate values. Peter draws out very clearly the underlying mindset behind the performance (or non-performance) of IBM from its inception, especially in terms of which stakeholders it chose to give preference too. As someone who has worked for IBM in three separate tranches, his analysis of the impact of each CEO rings very true.
