Seeking Alpha is a crowd-sourced content service for the financial markets. Articles cover a broad range of stocks, asset classes and investment strategies. In contrast to other equity research platforms, insights are provided by an independent contributor base of industry experts.
Seeking Alpha was founded in 2004 by former Wall Street analyst, David Jackson. The company has distribution partnerships with MSN Money, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Nasdaq and TheStreet. As of 2014, Seeking Alpha has some 3 million registered users, and attracts 8 million unique viewers a month.

Bulldog Drummond is a San Diego based innovation and design consultancy that builds new brands, products, experiences and stories for Fortune 500 clients and early-stage businesses using people-centered design thinking and Uncommon Sense. Bulldog works collaboratively with client teams to refresh and reposition existing brands for renewed purpose and growth, uncovers new spaces for innovation and value creation, and facilitates internal teams to uncover opportunities from the inside. This site tries to reduce sometimes complicated facts to simple truths. Each month they explore the world using the lens of Uncommon Sense to look at people, places, products, brands and stories in a different way.

Academia.edu is a social networking website for academics. It was launched in September 2008 and the site now has over 11 million registered users as of 2014. The platform can be used to share papers, monitor their impact, and follow the research in a particular field. It is a participant in the open science or open access movements, responding to a need in science for instant distribution of research and a peer-review system that occurs alongside distribution, instead of occurring before it.
Academia.edu gives academics an efficient way to distribute their research and lets them monitor how many people are reading their articles.
Pete makes all his articles available on academia.edu in a non-editable, PDF format.
